Drug Formulation
High-quality Xinshi (yellow and lustrous) 3 qian (crushed to the size of a bean), white alum 1 liang (ground into powder), high-quality Huangdan (water-floated, stir-fried until discolored) 5 qian, scorpion tails 7 pieces (thoroughly washed, dried on a tile, and ground into powder), and Aconite (firm and smooth, peeled, and ground into powder while raw) 1 qian.

Processing
First, heat a purple clay pot over charcoal until red-hot, then let it cool and wipe it clean;First, add the alum and heat until it boils; then add the Xinshi, mix it thoroughly into the alum, and calcine over alternating high and low heat. When it comes to a boil, stir again until uniform; next, when the pot turns bright red and smoke begins to rise, remove it from the heat, let it cool, and grind it into a fine powder. Only then should the three ingredients—Aconite, Yellow Dan, and scorpion tails—be added and ground together until extremely fine, then stored in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use
To apply the medicine, first prepare a decoction of licorice or a decoction of scallions and Sichuan pepper to cleanse the affected area. Then mix the prepared medicine with raw sesame oil and use a goose feather to brush it onto the hemorrhoids. Apply the medicine three times daily.Subsequently, the yellow, gelatinous discharge will be eliminated, and the hemorrhoidal mass will gradually subside. For long-standing hemorrhoids, complete removal can be achieved within 10 days; for more recent cases, they will all dissolve into yellow discharge and be removed cleanly, down to the root, after which apply a remedy to promote the growth of healthy new tissue.
