Swelling appears beneath both eyes; the area between the thighs feels cold; the mouth tastes bitter and the tongue is dry; the chest and abdomen are hard and distended; the patient cannot lie flat on their back,and coughing occurs upon lying down; difficulty urinating; startled awakenings during sleep; inability to rest peacefully. Deficiency of both the Spleen and Kidney leads to swelling and aversion to wind.

Aconite Root (roasted) 2 liang, Southern Frankincense (baked) 1 liang, Fennel (roasted) 1 liang, Sichuan Pepper (roasted to remove moisture) 1 liang, Du Huo 1 liang, Magnolia Bark (peeled, chopped, processed with ginger, and roasted) 1 liang, Atractylodes (lightly roasted) 1 liang, Aged Tangerine Peel 1 liang, Evodia Fruit (roasted) 1 liang,Cinnamon Bark 1 liang, Alisma 1.5 liang, Cardamom (steamed) 0.5 liang, Areca Nut 0.5 liang.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a wheat-flour paste.

Instructions for Use
Take 50 pills per dose, washed down with Perilla Decoction, three times a day, at any time. Initially, there will be profuse diarrhea as if pouring out; subsequently, the swelling will subside and the shortness of breath will cease.
Note
Abstain from sexual activity and eliminate salt from the diet for half a year.
