Formulas Name : Atractylodes Ointment
Chinese Name : 术膏
Drug Formulation
2 liang of Atractylodes, 2 pieces of Aconite (large, roasted), 1 liang of Licorice, 5 liang of mutton fat, 1 piece of pine resin the size of a chicken’s egg, and 5 liang of lard (that does not dissolve in water).

Processing
First, simmer the lard over low heat; then add the mutton fat and all the other ingredients and continue simmering. Once the ointment is ready, strain out the residue.

Apply the warm decoction to areas of the body where the flesh has become rotten or decayed.
Instructions for Use
Once the ointment has set, apply it to the sore three times daily.
