Or due to excessive consumption of cold beverages, which injures the spleen’s qi, leading to vomiting, phlegm regurgitation, alternating chills and fever, or intermittent sweating.It also treats cold and dampness in the intestines and stomach, diarrhea and watery stools, undigested food and water in the stools, rumbling in the abdomen, and a sensation of fullness in the flanks. It further treats typhoid fever with excessive yin, characterized by cold extremities.

Drug Formulation

4 liang of ginseng, 12 liang of green tangerine peel (white pith removed), 10 liang of licorice (roasted), 6 liang of dried ginger (roasted), 12 liang of Acorus tatarinowii (baked and crushed), 1 jin of peony root, 6 liang of Cinnamomum cassia bark, half a jin of Poria cocos (peeled), and half a jin of Atractylodes lancea (peeled).

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, boil with 1 zhan of water, adding 5 slices of fresh ginger and 3 jujubes. Simmer until the liquid is reduced to 7 fen, then take warm on an empty stomach before meals.
