It is highly effective for cases without heat symptoms. It is particularly effective for blood loss syndromes caused by spleen deficiency.As this formula is predominantly warming and tonifying, it should not be used in cases of heat syndromes.

3 liang of white peony root; 1 liang each of angelica root, tangerine peel, astragalus root, cinnamon bark (with coarse outer bark removed), ginseng, and white atractylodes (roasted); 7 qian and a half each of prepared rehmannia root, schisandra berries, and poria; and half a liang of polygala root (roasted, with core removed).

Instructions for Use
Take four qian per dose. Add one and a half zhan of water, three slices of ginger, and two jujubes. Decoct until reduced to seven-tenths of the original volume, strain, and drink while warm.
