Drug Formulation
1 whole clamshell (with holes clustered together), 1 golden-headed centipede (coarsely ground).

Processing
Fill the clam with the centipede powder, seal the opening with paper paste, then apply seven layers of Western paper paste on the outside. Sun-dry it, then stir-fry with wheat bran until the paper turns black and charred; remove the paper and grind to a very fine powder. Add 1 fen of musk and grind again until uniform.

For hard scrofula that is difficult to resolve or ulcerate.
Instructions for Use
Mix aged vinegar to a thick consistency, apply it warm to the hardened nodule, cover with thin paper, and change the dressing once daily.
