Drug Formulation

1 liang of Wood Fragrance, 1 liang of Clove, 1 liang of Lingling Fragrance, 1 liang of Aconite (roasted and cracked), 1 liang of Agarwood, 1 liang of Evodia, 1 liang of Dried Ginger (roasted), 1 liang of Imported Sulfur (ground), 1 liang of Cinnamon (coarse bark removed), 1 liang of White Alum (burned to ash and ground), 1 fen of Musk (ground), 1 fen of Talcum Powder (ground).

Processing

Take the above 12 ingredients; pound and sift 8 of them into a fine powder, then mix evenly with the 4 ground ingredients. Combine with refined honey to form pills the size of a chicken’s head.

Instructions for Use

First, extract 1 he of natural ginger juice and bring it to a boil. Add 1 zhan of water and 1 pill of the medicine, then simmer together until the pill dissolves completely. Crush the mixture with your fingers, then, in a warm room, dip your fingers in the medicine and rub it onto the lower back until the medicine is fully absorbed. Wrap the abdomen with cotton and secure it; shortly thereafter, the lower back will feel as if on fire. With prolonged use, the blood vessels will become unblocked, and the complexion will become radiant and lustrous.
