Drug Formulation

2 pieces of large Chuanxiong (chopped into 4 pieces), 1 large Aconite root (pounded raw with the skin into a fine powder).

Processing

Mix the Aconite powder with water to form a dough-like consistency, then wrap the Chuanxiong in it, dividing it into four portions. If there is insufficient Aconite powder, add some flour; after wrapping, pierce several holes with a needle. Use genuine camphor and musk to fumigate the holes, then press the dough firmly to seal the holes. If the scent is not detectable inside the holes, fumigate again with one stick of incense. Sift the ash through a fine sieve; roast it in a jar over hot charcoal until thoroughly cooked, then grind into a fine powder.

Take half a qian per dose, mixed with scallion tea, and take as needed.
