Drug Formulation

Cinnabar 1 liang and a half (finely ground, washed with water), Borneol 1 fen (finely ground), Ox Bile 0.5 liang (finely ground), Dragon’s Teeth 1 liang, Tianzhuyang 1 liang (finely ground), Tiger’s Eyes 2 pairs (soaked in wine overnight, lightly roasted), Snake Bone Skin 3 fen, Purple Quartz 1 liang (finely ground, washed with water), White Stiff Silkworm 3 fen (lightly roasted),1 liang of horse-tooth oyster (finely ground), 100 pieces of gold leaf (finely ground), 100 pieces of silver leaf (finely ground), 1 liang of red tendons, 3 fen of Angelica sinensis (chopped, lightly roasted), half a liang of Vitex fruit, half a liang of musk (finely ground), 1 liang of rhino horn shavings, 1 liang of Polygala (core removed),Lead Oxide 1 liang (finely ground), Ginseng 1 liang (root tip removed), Poria Sclerotium 1.5 liang (wooden core removed), Ophiopogon Tuber 1.5 liang (core removed, roasted), Du Huo 1 liang, Chrysanthemum Flower 1 liang, Fangfeng 1 liang (root tip removed), Scutellaria Root 1 liang, Licorice 0.5 liang (lightly roasted until reddish, coarsely chopped).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, add the finely ground ingredients, and grind again until uniform. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
