Formulas Name : Hemp Seed and Gentian Pills
Chinese Name : 麻仁龙胆丸
Drug Formulation
1 liang of hemp seeds, 1 liang of rhubarb, 2 fen of Bupleurum, 2 fen of Scutellaria, 2 fen of white fresh bark, 2 fen of Gentiana, 2 fen of red peony root, 2 fen of gentian herb, 1 fen of Coptis, and 40 gardenia fruits.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

For all types of epidemic diseases where the patient is unaware of bodily pain, experiences neither chills nor fever, appears dazed as if deep in thought, and is compliant and talkative.
Instructions for Use
After meals, take 30 pills with a decoction of light bamboo leaves, three times daily. Continue until a profuse bowel movement occurs. Partial recovery occurs in 10 days; full recovery in one month.
