Chinese Name : 喝起丸

Drug Formulation

Smilax glabra 1 liang, Eucommia ulmoides (stir-fried with ghee, fibers removed) 1 liang, Fenugreek (stir-fried with raw sesame oil) 1 liang, Coptis chinensis (stir-fried) 1 liang, Fennel 1 liang (soaked in salt water overnight), Walnut kernels 1 liang (blanched to remove the skin).

Processing

Grind the walnut kernels into a fine powder, then mix with the powdered forms of the preceding five medicinal ingredients to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30–50 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with salted wine; salted broth may also be used.
