Drug Formulation
1 male elk, 1 female deer, 16 jin of goji berries, 3 jin of Angelica sinensis (soaked together in wine), 3 jin of Chuanxiong (must not be exposed to fire), 3 jin of Pao Bai Shao (roasted white peony root), 3 jin of Sheng Di (raw rehmannia, boiled in wine and pounded into a paste), 3 jin of ginseng, 3 jin of Bai Zhu (fried with soil from an east-facing wall),3 jin of Poria cocos (peeled), and 3 jin of licorice (honey-fried).

Processing
Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder and store them separately; take the blood from a slaughtered male elk and mix it with the “Four Gentlemen” formula to form pellets the size of a marble; take the blood from a slaughtered female deer and mix it with the “Four Substances” formula to form pellets the size of a marble, then sun-dry them and grind them into a powder; remove the hair and impurities from both deer, mix the two brains and two spinal cords with the Rehmannia paste, and pound them into a paste; roast the two bone powders and grind each into a fine powder;refine the two types of meat, two types of skin, and two miscellaneous ingredients into pastes; boil the elk antlers to form a powder, boil the antler juice to form a glue, and mix with the aforementioned herbal powders to form pills; if the mixture does not form pills, add a small amount of refined honey; the pills should be the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 50 pills per dose, increasing to 100 pills; take on an empty stomach with warm wine; salted water may also be used. As the formula has moisturizing properties, it must still be exposed to sunlight regularly.
