Drug Formulation

8 liang of Summer Deadgrass, 5 liang of Scrophularia, 5 liang of rock salt (baked), 1 liang of Sargassum, 1 liang of sea powder, 1 liang of Fritillaria, 1 liang of Trichosanthes root, 1 liang of White Polygonum, 1 liang of Forsythia, 1 liang of Platycodon, 1 liang of Angelica (washed with wine), 1 liang of Raw Rehmannia (washed with wine),Zhike (fried with wheat bran) 1 liang, Rheum (steamed with wine) 1 liang, Peppermint leaves 1 liang, Sodium carbonate 1 liang, Licorice 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a wine paste to form pills the size of mung beans.

Benefits

For scrofula, phlegm nodules, and goiters in the neck and nape, where the skin color remains unchanged but there is swelling or pain.

Instructions for Use

Take over 100 pills per dose; swallow them with plain hot water after a meal or just before bedtime, then lie down for one hour. For scrofula that has not yet ulcerated, the condition will resolve internally; for those that have ulcerated, they will heal on their own. Apply Taiyi Ointment externally to promote wound closure.

Note

Avoid beef; avoid spicy and other irritating foods.
