When taking this medicine, if a splint is applied to the injured area, it must be loosened to prevent adverse effects on the compressed area should a全身性 spasm occur. If the injury is to the hands or feet, the affected area should be left exposed outside the blankets while sleeping. If the hands or feet exhibit involuntary movements, this is a sign that the medicine is taking effect. If an overdose causes excessive spasms, drink plenty of fresh soy milk to alleviate them, or decoct 5 qian of high-quality cinnamon and consume it. After the spasms subside, reapply the splint securely; if the skin darkens after taking the medicine, this is harmless.
