Drug Formulation

18 small snail shells (tips removed, lightly roasted), 21 spotted beetles (heads and legs removed, roasted until yellow), 63 sparrow droppings (white ones, lightly roasted), 1 qian of musk (finely ground).

Processing

First, grind the first three ingredients into a fine powder; add the musk and grind until evenly mixed. Use 1 he of good-quality fermented soybeans, mash them until soft, then grind them into a paste. Form into pills the size of mung beans.
