Source

From *Bo Ji*, cited in *Pu Ji Fang*, Volume 105.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder.

Benefits

Pain in the feet and knees caused by wind-toxin attacking the meridians.

Instructions for Use

For each use, take 2 spoonfuls of the mixture. Place the herbs in a cypress wood tub and steep them in boiling water. Steam the affected area from above using a footrest, then gradually pour the liquid over the affected area. Prop up the toes with an object to prevent them from being submerged, allowing the wind-toxin to escape. After rinsing, wipe dry and cover the area with clothing or a blanket to protect it from drafts. If the area feels itchy as if insects were crawling on it, this indicates the treatment is effective.
