Drug Formulation

3 fen of ginseng, 3 fen of aconite root (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed), 3 fen of Anemarrhena rhizome, half liang of Aster root (with stems and soil removed), half liang of Poria cocos (with black skin removed), half liang of licorice root (roasted),half liang of roasted black plum pulp, half liang of Bupleurum (stems removed), half liang of Gentiana (stems and soil removed), and 1 liang of Terminalia chebula (wrapped in flour and roasted until the flour turns yellow; remove the skin).

Processing

Coarsely chop the ingredients into pieces the size of sesame seeds or beans.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian bi per dose; add 1 zhan of water, half a piece of fresh ginger (crushed), and 2 jujubes (split open); decoct until reduced to 7 fen; strain and take while warm, at any time of day.
