For tender opacities that have developed in recent years, they should subside after 5–7 applications as the medicine takes effect; for older opacities, apply frequently for ten days, and the condition will improve once they subside. For pterygium and congested tissue, within 2–3 days, scrape them off with the copper rod while applying the medicine, and the pterygium will naturally break apart.
