Drug Formulation

1 liang of Angelica sinensis (stir-fried with earth), 2 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala (stir-fried), 1 liang of dried tangerine peel, 1 liang of Bile Star, 1 liang of whole insect bodies, 1 liang 5 qian of apricot kernels (peeled, tips removed, and stir-fried), 1 liang of myrrh (oil removed), 1 liang of dried black plum pulp, 3 liang of Ephedra (honey-fried),Gypsum 3 liang (calcined), millet husks 5 liang (removed from the kernel, honey-fried until charred and dry), Chuanxiong 3 liang (fried), raw licorice 1 liang.

Processing

Grind all ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with the steamed flesh of large red dates to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.
