Drug Formulation

2 liang of Lüru, 2 liang of Langya, 2 liang of Qinghu, 2 liang of Diyu,2 liang of Lepidium, 2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of sheep’s-foot root, 2 liang of Polygonum aviculare, 6 fen of Cnidium monnieri, 6 fen of Cynanchum atratum, 2 fen of Eupatorium (grind the above ingredients into a powder; soak in vinegar overnight; the next morning, simmer with 4 sheng of pork fat, boiling three times and letting it settle three times; once the ointment is formed, strain out the residue and add the following ingredients), 2 liang of realgar,Orpiment 2 liang, sulfur 2 liang, alum 2 liang, lead white 2 liang, pine resin 2 liang, mercury 2 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Once the mercury has completely dissolved, pour the mixture into the prepared lard, stir thoroughly, and store in a porcelain container, ensuring no air escapes.

Instructions for Use

When preparing the ointment, use only a very low heat; if heated too quickly, it will be ineffective. First, grind the realgar and other ingredients into a fine powder. Wait until the ointment has cooled slightly, then mix it in and apply.

Note

Keep away from the eyes and genital area.
