Drug Formulation

1 liang of mercury (store it in a green bamboo tube; on the Day of the Waxing Moon, place it in the latrine; seal it tightly with a lead lid to prevent contamination; remove it on the Dragon Boat Festival—the mercury will be on top, resembling snow), 3 fen of indigo powder, 3 fen of calcium carbonate, 1 fen of yellow hibiscus flower, and 6 fen of Coptis chinensis.
