2 liang of peach twigs, 2 liang of willow twigs, 2 liang of apricot twigs, 2 liang of mulberry twigs, and 2 liang of locust tree branches (cut into pieces about one cun long).

Processing
Take 24 liang of pure sesame oil and bring it to a rolling boil over a low charcoal fire. Add the branches one by one and boil them until they are charred to ash; strain out the residue. Next, add 1 liang 5 qian of human hair (half male, half female, washed to remove oil) and fry it in the oil until it melts. Then add 1 liang 5 qian of pangolin scales (chopped into small pieces) and fry them in the oil until charred. Next, add 5 qian of elephant skin (chopped into small pieces) and fry it in the oil until it melts.then add 100 large gardenias, pinching each one open; immerse them in the oil off the heat for the duration of one incense stick, then simmer over low heat for another incense stick’s duration, and finally fry over high heat until charred. Remove and allow to cool completely, then filter out the residue using hemp cloth. Transfer the oil to a clean pot, weighing out exactly 2 liang of oil for each portion,add 1 liang of roasted yellow丹, and boil until a drop of oil forms a bead that does not disperse. Remove from heat for one moment, then add the following herbs: genuine realgar (translucent and bright), dragon’s blood, and catechu—2 qian each. Grind them into a fine powder, mix into the ointment, place the pot in cold water, and once slightly cooled, remove it. With hands moistened with water, knead and twist the mixture 100 times to ensure the herbs are evenly blended. Bury in soil for 5 days to remove the toxic properties of fire.

Instructions for Use
To use, soak in cool well water for half a day, knead into a thin sheet, place on a cloth, and apply by steaming with hot water until melted.
