Miraculous Recipe for Simmered Jujubes

Drug Formulation
Half a jin of He Shou Wu, 2 liang of Tianhua Fen, 2 liang of Wei Ling Xian, 2 liang of turtle shell (roasted),2 liang of honeysuckle, 2 liang of soapberry thorns, 2 liang of Sichuan smilax, 2 liang of white silkworm pupae, 2 liang of akebia, 2 liang of white angelica, 2 liang of ephedra, 2 liang of cicada slough, 2 liang of angelica sinensis, 2 liang of Atractylodes lancea, 2 liang of Sichuan lovage, 4 liang of raw rhubarb, 4 liang of raw rehmannia, and 1 liang of whole snake skin.

Processing
Place the above ingredients in a porcelain pot with 1 dou of clean water and decoct until reduced to 5–6 sheng. Strain out the residue. Select 5 jin of large black jujubes, add them to the decoction, and simmer further until the liquid is completely evaporated. Sun-dry the jujubes.
