2 liang of Scutellaria baicalensis (roasted), 2 liang of Aconite, 2 liang of Aconitum carmichaeli (used raw, with skin and pith removed), 2 liang of Salvia miltiorrhiza, 2 liang of Sichuan pepper (seeds and closed ends removed, stir-fried until sweating), 2 liang of Rhododendron flower, 2 liang of licorice (roasted),Acorus tatarinowii 2 liang, Cinnamon Bark (with coarse outer bark removed) 2 liang, Dried Ginger (raw) 2 liang, Aconite Root (raw, with skin and pith removed) 2 liang, Dehuo (with root tip removed) 2 liang, Lycium Bark 2 liang, Gentiana (with stems and soil removed) 2 liang, Fangfeng (with branches removed) 2 liang,Chuanxiong 2 liang, Ginseng 2 liang, Angelica sinensis 2 liang, White Angelica 2 liang, Ligusticum chuanxiong (with stems and soil removed) 2 liang, Raw Rehmannia 2 liang, White Fresh Bark 2 liang, Schisandra (roasted) 2 liang.

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients, place them in a sealed container with 2 dou of ash-free wine, and let them steep for 7 days.

Instructions for Use

Drink half a zhan daily on an empty stomach, gradually increasing the amount. After each dose, follow with 2–3 spoonfuls of rice to settle the medicine. For every zhan consumed, add one zhan of herbs to the infusion; stop when the medicinal properties are exhausted.

Note

Avoid hot meat, noodles, chicken, fish, beef, greasy foods, fruits, and stale, foul-smelling soybean paste sauce.
