Drug Formulation

2 qian of Angelica sinensis, 2 qian of Prepared Rehmannia (further stir-fried with ginger juice in a porcelain vessel until dry), 1 qian of Ophiopogon (core removed, stir-fried), 8 fen of Tangerine Peel (white pith removed), 8 fen of White Cardamom (shell removed, stir-fried, and ground), 1.5 qian of Cistanche, and 4 qian of Ginseng.

Instructions for Use

Decoct in water; add 4–5 spoons each of cow’s milk, white honey, bamboo sap, and ginger juice to blend. Take half a cup at a time, frequently and without interruption. Alternatively, consume thin congee, pork broth, or mutton broth.

Note

Avoid chicken, duck, and grilled or roasted foods.
