3 jin of peach bark (remove the black outer layer to reveal the yellow inner layer), 1 sheng of wheat malt, and 1 sheng of glutinous millet.

Instructions for Use

Boil the peach bark in 3 dou of water until reduced to 1 dou. Use 5 sheng of this liquid to soak the female malt, and use another 5 sheng to soak steamed rice. Ferment according to standard wine-making methods; once matured, strain out the sediment. Take 1 he three times daily; those who can tolerate alcohol may increase the dose. A sign of improvement is internal heat; when urination becomes frequent, the illness has subsided and recovery is imminent.
