Drug Formulation

1 jin of mulberry twigs, 1 jin of locust twigs, 1 jin of willow twigs (finely chopped), 1 sheng of black beans (rinsed), half a liang of Polygonum aviculare bark (ground) (decoct the above herbs in 2 dou of water until reduced to 5 sheng; strain out the residue; add 1 sheng of wine and simmer further until it reaches the consistency of thin syrup), 2 liang of Gastrodia elata,1 liang of sea-tong bark, 1 liang of smilax rhizome, 1 liang of ligusticum and cnidium, 1 liang of saposhnikovia root (with the root tip removed), 1 liang of acanthopanax bark, 1 liang of jujube seeds (lightly roasted), 1 liang of coix seeds, 1 liang of cinnamon bark, and 1.5 liang of raw rehmannia root.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with the previously prepared decoction, and add refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
