Drug Formulation
2 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 2 liang of Aquilaria agallocha, 2 liang of black rhinoceros horn shavings, 2 liang of Cyperus rotundus (roasted and dehaired), 2 liang of cinnabar (ground and water-washed),2 liang of Terminalia chebula (roasted, peel removed), 2 liang of white sandalwood, 2 liang of benzoin (ground separately, boiled into a paste with 1 sheng of ash-free wine), 2 liang of agarwood, 2 liang of musk (ground), 2 liang of cloves, 2 liang of long pepper, 1 liang of suhexiang oil (mixed into the benzoin paste), and 1 liang of frankincense (ground separately).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix evenly with the ground ingredients, and use the benzoin paste and refined white honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Early in the morning, collect water from the well’s surface; take 4 pills on an empty stomach, dissolving them in water—warm or cold as desired. Elderly people and children may take 1 pill, which may also be dissolved in warm wine. Wrap 1 pill, about the size of a marble, in waxed paper, place it in a crimson silk pouch, and wear it over the heart; all malevolent spirits will dare not approach.
