Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Shiting Zhi (sulfur selected for its wax-like color), half a liang of talc, Pinellia (soaked in wine overnight, washed seven times with boiling water, then dried), black Aconite (roasted, with skin and pith removed), and Tiannanxing (soaked in vinegar overnight, washed seven times with boiling water, then dried).

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian bi per dose. Use half a zhan of cold, clear pickled radish juice; add a drop of sesame oil the size of a coin; dip the medicine onto the oil droplet until it falls off after a moment. Then remove the pickled radish and give the medicine to the child. Immediately afterward, take three to five sips of the clear pickled radish juice to help it go down. Administer this when the child is hungry. Wait one hour before feeding the child breast milk or solid food.
