Drug Formulation

Pongshu (simmered in vinegar) 1 liang, Qingpi (white pith removed) 1 liang, Jing Sanling (roasted with ash) 1 liang, Turmeric 1 liang, Dingpi 1 liang, Licorice 1 liang, Areca Nut 1 liang, Qianniu 1 liang, Croton Seed (roasted with 1 sheng of barley until yellow; no need to remove oil) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 to 30 pills per dose; for children, 5–7 pills. Take on an empty stomach with cold broth; wine may also be used.
