Instructions for Use
To remove the black, blood-colored, foul-smelling substance from the center, soak it in rice washing water. Change the water once every 3 days in summer and once every 10 days in winter. After soaking in the rice washing water for about one month or more, when it begins to soften, remove it, place it in a steamer, cover it with white mulberry bark, and steam until it is as soft as steamed taro. Dry it in the sun, grind it into powder, and mix in 1 liang of sulfur processed over a summer heat fire. Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with wine.
