Drug Formulation
6 liang of Huai Shengdi, 4 liang of dried Shan Yao, 3 liang of Fu Ling (peeled), 3 liang of Mu Dan Pi, 2 liang of Ze Xie, 4 liang of Shan Zhu Yu (pitted), 4 liang of Huang Lian, 3 liang of Huang Bai, 2 liang of Zhi Mu (hairs removed), 2 liang of Ren Shen, 2 liang of Dang Gui, 2 liang of Zao Jiao, 3 liang of Huai Jiao, 2 liang of Tian Hua Fen.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a powder. Take a section of the large intestine from a wild boar, remove the fat, and stuff it with the herbal powder; tie both ends securely with thread.Cook 1 sheng of glutinous rice; when half-cooked, remove it and place it in a steamer. Nestle the medicated intestine within the rice and steam until fully cooked, as one would steam rice; allow to cool, then remove the medicated intestine, discarding the unmedicated ends. Pound the medicated intestine into a paste and form it into pills; if the mixture is too hard, add rice to bind it, making pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Take 100 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with plain hot water.
Note
