Drug Formulation

7 sour pomegranates (mashed with the peel), 7 sweet pomegranates (mashed with the peel), 2 liang of ginseng (root tip removed), 2 liang of kudzu root (chopped), 2 liang of sand ginseng (root tip removed), 2 liang of salvia root, 2 liang of cocklebur seeds, and 2 liang of notopterygium root.

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients, wrap them in cotton, and steep them in 1 dou of ash-free wine in a porcelain bottle. Seal the bottle tightly; steep for 7 days in spring and summer, and 14 days in autumn and winter.
