Drug Formulation

Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice water) 2 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala 2 liang, Magnolia officinalis (stir-fried with ginger juice) half a liang, Tangerine peel 1 liang, Licorice 5 qian, Amomum villosum 5 qian, Soapstone alum 2 liang (processed with powder).

Processing

Grind all the above herbs, except for the soap alum, into a fine powder. Prepare the soap alum separately: take 1 sheng of red glutinous rice flour. First, stir-fry the soap alum in an earthenware pot until all smoke has dissipated; then add the flour and stir-fry until fragrant and thoroughly cooked. Remove from heat, mix with the Pingwei powder, and cook with vinegar to form a paste, then roll into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills each time, washed down with ginger tea, twice daily.
