Drug Formulation

Rhubarb, Fennel, Black Pharbitis (removed head and ground into powder), Broken Paper Tree (peeled), and Burdock Seed (shell removed)—each in equal parts.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian 5 fen per dose, mixed with hot wine on an empty stomach. By the hour of Ji, yellow phlegm, saliva, pus, and blood will be expelled.

Note

Do not wash your hands after taking the medicine, lest it diminish its efficacy; avoid raw and cold foods, duck, starch-based foods, wheat products, and white liquor.
