Drug Formulation

Agarwood (chopped into pieces and ground separately), Croton seed powder 5 qian (pounded with paper), Dried tangerine peel (washed), Green tangerine peel (stir-fried with vinegar), Curcuma zedoaria (stir-fried with vinegar and oven-dried), Guangxi frankincense 2 qian, Black plum pulp (oven-dried) 5 qian, Coptis 5 qian, Areca nut 5 qian, Cloves 2 qian (all ground into a fine powder).

Processing

Soak the croton seed kernels in boiling water, remove the core, soak in good vinegar for one hour, boil until dry, then grind. Use rice paper to remove the oil, mix thoroughly with the medicinal powders, and form into pills the size of millet grains using a thick paste.

Take 5–7 or 9 pills at a time; adults should take 12 pills, washed down with warm plain water.
