Formulas Name : Raw Ming Powder

Chinese Name : 生明散

Drug Formulation

White Cloves (sorted and cleaned, ground into a very fine powder using water) 1 liang; Southern Borax Powder (high-quality) 3 qian.

From *Liangpeng Huiji*, Volume 3.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Take one large live clam, fill it with the powder, and place the clam in a clean bowl. Cover the bowl with bamboo paper to keep out dust, then sun-dry the bowl until moisture is drawn out.
