Instructions for Use
Calcine the lime on a new tile until red-hot, quench it 4–5 times with lye water, grind it into a fine powder, mix it with cinnabar in lye water until uniform, then soak the glutinous rice in the mixture. When the rice swells and turns crystal-clear, apply it to the scrofula 2–3 times daily until healed.
