Drug Formulation

Atractylodes lancea, Cyperus rotundus (soaked in a child’s urine, processed four times), and Ligusticum chuanxiong—each in equal parts.

From *Xingyuan*, Volume 4.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with steamed bun dough to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Benefits

Indicated for qi stagnation, pain in the chest and flanks, and a deep,涩 pulse.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills each time, washed down with plain ginger tea before meals. This formula may be coarsely crushed and decocted with modifications according to the Six Syndromes.
