Drug Formulation

1 qian 5 fen of Bupleurum, 1 qian of Scutellaria, 1 qian of Anemarrhena, 8 fen of Changshan (boil in white wine until dry, stir-fry until purple; it is even more effective if then simmered thoroughly in water with Atractylodes), 5 fen of Amomum seed, and 2 black plums.

Instructions for Use

Decoct with equal parts water and white wine; let stand overnight. Take warm at the fifth watch on the day the attack is due.
