Instructions for Use

Roast and grind over a lamp burning fragrant oil; add musk and grind into a fine powder. Take with a child’s urine. Alternatively, add 1 qian each of Qi Ai and Sumu, mix with malt powder to form a paste, and shape into pills; this is called the Wujin Pill. In cases of difficult labor or a retained dead fetus, take it with a child’s urine. There is also a method of using only snake skin, roasted in butter and ground into a powder, taken with a spoonful of a child’s urine.
