Drug Formulation

5 qian of raw Rehmannia, 1.5 qian of ginseng, 3 qian of Astragalus (honey-fried), 0.5 fen of Bupleurum (stir-fried with salt and vinegar until black), 1.5 qian of white peony root (stir-fried with vinegar), 0.3 fen of Cimicifuga (stir-fried with salt and vinegar), 3 qian of donkey-hide gelatin (stir-fried with pollen ash), 3 qian of Chinese yam (stir-fried), 3 qian of human hair ash (stir-fried to ash), 3 qian of red cinnabar (stir-fried with vinegar).
