Drug Formulation

2 liang of realgar, 2 liang of cinnabar, 2 liang of orpiment, 2 liang of rhubarb, 3 pieces of angelica root, 1 fen of croton seed, 5 pieces of Chinese watercress, 2 liang of cinnamon bark, 1.5 liang of pearl, 1.5 liang of aconite root, 1 centipede, 8 pieces of aconite tuber, 1 liang of rhinoceros horn, 1 liang of podophyllum, 1 liang of arrowroot, 2 liang of li lu,1 liang of musk, 1 liang of ox bile, 1 liang of ginseng, 30 apricot kernels, 1 lizard, 7 spotted beetles, 7 Chinese partridges, and 7 earthworms.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of small beans.

Instructions for Use

First, take 2 pills after meals, twice daily. If no effect is felt, gradually increase the dose. Place 2 pills on the doorframe to ward off all evil influences. Those suffering from typhoid fever will be cured immediately upon taking this remedy. When visiting the home of a patient, examining a patient, or traveling alone at night, take 2 pills; all evil influences will dare not approach.
