Drug Formulation
Epimedium (washed in wine, chopped) 10 liang; Cistanche (if unavailable, substitute with Cistanche deserticola) 4 liang; Curculigo (soaked in glutinous rice water overnight, coarse bark and black tip removed with a bamboo knife) 4 liang; Realgar (ground) 2 liang; Phellodendron (coarse bark removed) 2 liang; Anemarrhena (tail removed) 2 liang; Angelica sinensis (washed in wine, soaked) 8 liang.

Processing
Add 15 jin of ash-free wine to a bottle and seal it tightly. Simmer over a moderate to strong fire using mulberry wood for 3 shí, then bury the bottle in the ground for 3 days and nights to remove the fire toxicity. After 7 days, retrieve the herbs, sun-dry them, and grind into a fine powder. Mix the powder with glutinous rice flour paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take the medicine with wine, and press it down with dry ingredients. Heat the wine in a silver or porcelain pot using a double boiler before drinking. Do not induce bowel movements recklessly after taking the wine; wait for the natural process to occur. Results may take as little as three months or as long as half a year, but once the essence is expelled and the womb is formed, this method has proven effective time and time again.
Note
Avoid beef and iron utensils. Suitable for those with a Yin constitution.
