Instructions for Use

Boil the above herbs in 1 dou of water until reduced to 7 sheng; strain out the residue, divide the liquid into two portions, and use according to the child’s body temperature. First, bathe the child’s head, taking care not to let water enter the ears or eyes; next, bathe the back and shoulders; finally, bathe the lower body from the waist down. After bathing, keep the child away from drafts and dust the body with talcum powder.
