Drug Formulation

1 red-headed centipede (sun-dried; moisten with half a cup of fine wine, then roast until crisp),1 qian of Tianxiong (calcined over low heat to preserve its nature, then ground), 1 qian of Bai Fuzi (sliced, roasted), half a qian of Cinnabar (ground, water-washed), 1 qian of Asarum (stems removed), half a qian of Mercury Oxide, half a qian of Realgar (water-washed), 1 qian of Atractylodes (roasted), 1 qian of Curcuma,Pinellia 1 qian (wash thoroughly, soak in ginger juice overnight, wash again, slice, and bake until dry).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, add a small amount each of borneol and musk, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a chicken’s head.
