Drug Formulation

4 jin of large maple seeds, 2 liang of Sichuan flaxseed, 2 liang of castor seeds, 2 liang of strychnos root, 2 liang of apricot kernels, 2 liang of hawthorn berries, and 4 he of sesame seeds.

Processing

Pound the ingredients into a paste, pack them tightly into a bottle, insert 3–4 willow twigs into the bottom of the bottle, dig a pit in the ground, bury a large jar in it, pour water around the jar to form a mud pit, place the medicine bottle on top of the jar, and roast it over charcoal fire for about three sticks of incense; the oil will drip out.
