Drug Formulation
7 liang 5 qian of Zhang Dan, 8 qian of Gong Fen, 4 qian of copper green, 4 qian of Da Lü, 4 slices of raw pangolin scales, and 1 jin of sesame oil.

Processing
Take the first four ingredients:Grind each into a fine powder and pack separately. Use a large iron pot; pour the sesame oil into it, then add the raw tortoise shell slices to the oil. Simmer over low heat. Once the slices float to the surface, remove them. Slowly sprinkle the Zhang Dan into the oil and wait for it to change color. Then slowly sprinkle the remaining three ingredients—Gong Fen, etc.—into the mixture. These three ingredients are most prone to causing the oil to boil over, so do not let them clump together; they should form beads when a drop of water is added. Remove the mixture and allow it to set.
