Instructions for Use
Wash the white flower snake thoroughly with warm water, remove the head and tail (each 3 cun long) as well as the bones, and extract 1 liang of clean meat.First, use 2 dou of glutinous rice to brew white wine according to standard methods. Place the aforementioned herbal pouch into the wine vat. Once the wine has fermented—5 days in spring, 3 days in summer, 7 days in autumn, and 10 days in winter—remove the wine along with the herbal pouch and boil them together until thoroughly cooked. Drink while hot on an empty stomach. Start with 1 cup; after 3 days, add half a cup; after another 3 days, increase to 2 cups; gradually increase to 3 cups as a regular dose. Do not exceed this amount, as excessive intake may cause adverse reactions.
