Drug Formulation

2 jin of weeping willow branches, 2 jin of mulberry branches, 2 jin of locust tree twigs, 2 jin of Tianliao wood branches, and 2 jin of Xianlingpi leaves.

Processing

Chop the ingredients coarsely. In a large silver pot, decoct them in 7 dou of water until reduced to 1 dou; strain thoroughly to remove all residue. Take 1 sheng of late-season silkworm sand, roast it until fragrant, pound it into a fine powder, and sift it. Mix the powder with the decoction, then simmer again until the consistency is just right. Remove from heat and transfer to a sealed earthenware jar. For each dose, mix the following pills with wine: 1 liang of Fangfeng (root tip removed), 1 liang of Qianghuo,Schisandra berries 1 liang, Ginseng 1 liang (root tip removed), Acanthopanax bark 1 liang, White Tribulus 1 liang (lightly roasted, thorns removed), Red Poria 1 liang, White Fresh Bark 1 liang, Sweet Chrysanthemum flowers 1 liang, Pine nuts 1 liang (shells removed), Black Snake 3 liang (soaked in wine, skin and bones removed, roasted until yellow), Dew-soaked bee hive 1 liang (lightly roasted).Grind the above ingredients into a powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose; mix them with 1 medium bowl of warm wine and 1 teaspoon of the prepared decoction until well blended, and swallow before meals.
